Education Funding Resources

We understand that many people who graduate from a medical school often carry a heavy debt load to pay for their education.

Fortunately, help is available.

It is important to note that in order to be considered eligible for most of the loan repayment and scholarship programs, a service obligation in either a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA) or a “medically underserved area” of California is required. All State operated correctional facilities are designated as medically underserved. To locate a HPSA, please visit: http://hpsafind.hrsa.gov.
